He started with filming on classical celluloid after he started university. He was a member of Film Club and he got several prizes for his documentaries in national competitions, such as Uničov Young camera, TSTT Uherské Hradiště, Railway Přerov and a lot of others. He especially dealt with production of technical learning programmes. After introduction of video he started to deal with this new possibility of production and gradually went through linear systems Video2000, Beta, VHS, Video8, S-VHS as far as current DV a DVCAM with non-linear cut.

In 1994 he started his own firm dealing with TV and video production. He cooperated with Czech TV Ostrava in the field of news and "Wandering camera" programme. At present he mainly deals with project management in this firm and cutting.
